Let's Talk CBD RSS
Cannabidiol—CBD—is an industrial hemp-derived cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits but does not make people feel “stoned” and can counteract the psychoactive effects of THC. Cannabidiol can be taken into the body in multiple different ways, including by inhalation of cannabis smoke or vapor, as an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied as oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (no added THC or terpenes), a full-plant CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, and capsules or as dried cannabis. CBD may be useful either as a treatment for a specific illness or in a smaller dose for maintenance of good health.
Cannabidiol or CBD is the primary active component in industrial hemp, some of the benefits of CBD use include relief from pain, inflammation, depression, anxiety, smoking and stress. It does not have the "high" effect caused by THC. Industrial hemp derived CBD has less than 0.3% THC.
